Environmental Impact Permit for Category I Facilities «Varro Operating Group» LLP

Nobilis Corp LLP is a company engaged in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons within licensed subsoil areas. Production activities are carried out at the Borankol field, located in the Beineu District of the Mangystau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the course of project implementation, the company places strong emphasis on compliance with industrial and environmental safety requirements.

Taking into account the specifics of subsoil use and the scale of production activities, the company was required to obtain an Environmental Impact Permit for a Category I facility, which предусматривает the development and substantiation of a comprehensive set of environmental documentation in accordance with the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Project Objectives:

As part of the project, it was necessary to prepare a full package of environmental documentation required for obtaining the environmental permit. The scope of work included conducting an environmental impact assessment, developing Emission Limit Values (ELVs), preparing documentation related to waste management, organizing production environmental monitoring, as well as supporting approval procedures and the state environmental expertise process.

What the JasylMeken Team Did?

The JasylMeken experts carried out a comprehensive analysis of the company’s production activities and conducted an inventory of environmental impact factors. During the project, Emission Limit Values (ELVs) were developed, along with a Waste Management Program (WMP) and a Production Environmental Monitoring Program (PEMP).

In addition, dispersion calculations and modeling of pollutant distribution were performed using specialized software solutions, and a complete package of materials was prepared to support the state environmental expertise and obtain the environmental permit.

Result:

As a result of the completed work, Nobilis Corp LLP successfully obtained an Environmental Impact Permit for a Category I facility. All environmental documentation was updated and brought into compliance with current regulatory requirements, ensuring lawful and environmentally responsible operation of the company’s production activities.
