PROJECT ADJUSTMENT. Standards for permissible emissions (NPE) of pollutants into the environment for AKMEZ LLP for 2024–2033.

In order to ensure environmental safety and compliance with environmental legislation, an adjustment was made to the draft standards for permissible emissions (NPE) of pollutants into the atmosphere for AKMEZ LLP for the period 2024–2033.

The NPE draft update is related to the commissioning of new sources of pollutants, as well as changes in technological processes occurring within the framework of the development and modernization of production.

• Enterprise: AKMEZ LLP

• Main activity (OKED 10411): production of unrefined oils and fats

• Location: Republic of Kazakhstan, Aktobe region, Khromtau district, settlement. Zhazik

• Production facility: Oilseed processing plant

• Establishment of current emission standards for new and existing pollution sources;

• Ensuring compliance of emissions with sanitary and environmental standards;

• Reduction of impact on atmospheric air and protection of public health.

During the project adjustment, the following was completed:

• Consolidated analysis of pollutant sources: comparison of the current project for 2022–2031 with the new version for 2024–2033;

• Calculation of emission volumes taking into account new process units;

• Modeling of pollutant dispersion and assessment of their impact;

• Development of environmental protection measures aimed at minimizing emissions into the environment.

The implementation of the NDV adjustment project will allow:

• Ensure the legal operation of the enterprise in the new conditions;

• Fulfil the requirements of environmental and sanitary legislation;

• Reduce the level of man-made impact on the environment;

• Maintain a sustainable ecological state in the area of ​​the enterprise’s operations.

Competent environmental planning and timely adjustment of the NDV are an important part of the environmental management system and confirm the responsible attitude of AKMEZ LLP to environmental protection issues.
