“Green Office” in KEGOC JSC: a step towards conscious changes

KEGOC JSC has completed its final annual training within the framework of the Green Office project, aimed at developing an environmentally responsible approach to daily office activities.

During the training, the staff analyzed in detail the rules of separate waste collection, analyzed the mistakes made earlier and discussed how they can be corrected in practice. This format allowed not only to refresh knowledge, but to take the next step — to move from a formal approach to conscious action.

As part of the project, a book crossing was created in the office, a space for book exchange. There is a cozy area with a comfortable sofa nearby, where staff can choose an interesting book and take a break reading in a relaxed atmosphere. This decision became part of the idea of taking care of resources and creating a comfortable working environment.

Also, as part of the Green Office project, employees took an active part in collecting waste paper.: According to the results of the last harvest, 330 kg was collected, which is equivalent to saving about 6 mature trees and significantly reduces the consumption of natural resources. The collected waste paper is sent for recycling and used for the production of paper products. In this way, simple office solutions turn into real environmental steps.

The Green Office project at KEGOC JSC shows that sustainable change begins with honest analysis and a willingness to adjust habits.
