LLP «L.Scarti» is an enterprise engaged in the reception, processing and disposal (neutralization) of industrial waste. The facility belongs to environmental protection facilities and is intended for the centralized collection, processing and safe disposal of hazardous industrial waste.

In order to continue operating in accordance with the updated requirements of environmental legislation, the company needed to obtain an environmental permit for a category I facility.

What was the task?

• preparation of a complete package of environmental documents for obtaining a permit;
• Development of Emission Limit Values (ELVs);
• Preparation of a Waste Management Program (WMP);
• development of an Environmental Control Program (ECP)
• performing calculations and modeling of environmental impacts;
• support of the public hearing procedure;
• approval of the project in government agencies and passing the state environmental assessment.

What did the JasylMeken team do?

• Conducted an inventory of the sources of emissions and waste from the production facility.
• Has developed and justified the ELVs, WMP and ECP.
• Performed a simulation of the dispersion of pollutants using specialized software.
• Analyzed the technological processes of the enterprise, including the operation of the coagulation and flocculation unit and the liquid and pasty waste management system .
• Has prepared electronic documents and templates for submission through the eco-portal.
• Accompanied the process of public hearings and obtaining expert opinions.

As a result of the work done, the company has successfully received an environmental permit, and the project has passed the state environmental assessment. The activities of LLP «L.Scarti» has been brought into compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation, which ensures the environmentally safe operation of the facility for the entire established period.
